Ameilee Laboucan (she/her) is a Black Cree-Métis woman from Treaty 8. She currently lives on the unceded Coast Salish territories of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Qayqayt, Kwikwetlem, Semiahmoo, and Tsawwassen Peoples. Ameilee is a second-year Master of Arts student in the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta.
