Christine Thuring

Christine Thuring is a Swiss-Canadian settler living on unceded Coast Salish territory. She holds a PhD in landscape ecology and works as an environmental campaigner with Protect the Planet. She was the third of many tree sitters who blocked the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion (TMX) for more than a year in the “Brunette River Conservation Area.”
