Dene Moore is a writer and journalist of mixed Scottish-French-Secwepemc ancestry on her mother’s side and Irish-Dakelh ancestry on her father’s. She writes regularly about books for a number of media outlets and she is currently working on a biography of Indigenous rights pioneer and Dakelh war hero Dominic “Dick” Patrick. She lives in Secwepemculecw near 100 Mile House, B.C., with a very overindulged dog and a dangerously-teetering TBR pile.
