What child welfare stories need to be told?
The Vancouver Island IndigiNews team is looking to amplify the stories of Indigenous children and youth. As well, we aim to tell stories of families impacted by the child welfare system and folks who work to support Indigenous children and youth in care.
We want to begin by listening. Our goal is to provide journalism that serves you and is driven by what you want. The following questions will guide us on what you think is important in the child welfare space on Vancouver Island.
Your responses will help us decide what stories to tell, and determine how we can best serve you. We take your privacy seriously. While we will be sharing about the overall themes and issues we learn about, we won’t share your name, specific details or information publicly (more on our privacy policy here).
